Q2: Does your outgoing mail (SMTP) server require authentication? A: SMTP authentication is not required unless you are using an ISP not associated with Vianet. To enable SMTP authentication in your email client, please use the following:
Q3: How much space does my email account have? A: Your email account has a 250 MB quota.
Q4: Can I purchase more space? A: Yes. You may purchase extra disk space in increments of 250 MB for $2.00 per month. Q5: Can I purchase additional email accounts? A: Yes. Additional email accounts can be purchased for $2.00 per month.
Q6: How do I forward my email to another account? (e.g., Yahoo mail, Hotmail) A: Please login to Vianet MailTools to setup forwarding.
Q7: Do you offer free spam filtering? A: Yes. Please login to Vianet MailTools to manage your spam filter settings.
Q8: How do I retrieve/change my username and/or password? A: Please login to MyAccount to change your password.
Q9: What is the maximum size of an email I can send? A: You can send messages up to 100 MB in size. This includes the content of your message, attachments and any overhead created by the attachments.
